You hear this statement all the time "that there are only a few good men". How true is that? It's pretty sad to be a women in this day and age if this statement is true. Where can all the good men be found? And once you find him what do you have to do to keep him?
As women, we have been told to hold men to a certain standard. However, when do we know when to compromise; when to use our bargaining skills; when do we just let them have their way or to let him have it. These are the never answered questions that can drive a man away if answered incorrect. Or on the other hand, keep him in the pocket if these questions are mastered.
One thing men do not know, it's tricky being a woman. We have to be bendable but not breakable; flexible but not too lenient; and a host of other oxymorons that only make sense to the woman who is putting on this performance. This is crazy right!!!
To add to this madness, we have to do all this without losing who we are in the process. All you men out there here's a little secret. If you call a woman crazy, more times then not, it is in the result of your actions.
So to all those good men, make your presence known. There is a good woman out there waiting to snatch you up. Ladies hopefully that last statement won't scare them.
What do you think? I would love to hear some feedback!
Yes, knowing exactly what to say and how to say it to your man can be complicated. I truly believe that before you take that BIG step to marry a man, you need to go to your secret place(Your pray closet). God will let you know if you don't know already if this is the man for you. He gives us many clues regarding our mate, but the thing is we don't listen. For some of us, we choose not to be lonely so we settle. If that man is for you and you are in tune with His word, God will give you the tools to deal/communicate with your mate. So ladies, don't put a lot of energy into figuring out how to communicate with someone who IS NOT YOURS anyway....it won't work. God will put road blocks up at times to prevent us from going down the wrong path...
ReplyDeleteListening to your heart can sometimes get you into a world of trouble. Using logical reasoning to decipher through emotions is the best answer in all scenarios. People need to know the following: do not waste your time when you know that this person is not for you. Do not ignore the red flags that pop up. Do not believe that when he says one thing he means something else. If you do... DO NOT waste your TIME feeling SORRY for YOURSELF!
